Nu stiu ce ar trebui sa ma ingrijoreze mai tare faptul ca Facebook imi pune reclame cu Neil DeGrasse Tyson, dupa ce m-am uitat pe Youtube la filmul asta, pe are btw va recomand sa il vedeti, sau ca imi pune reclame cu Adrian Nastase :) ?! Mai da chiar Adrian Nastase, da FB asta nu vede ce am la optiuni politice, da stie ToT la ce ma uit eu!

Zarva mare la mine pe scara. Suna cineva la usa, deschid si dau nas in nas cu vecina mea care printre gafaituri ma anunta ca politia e jos si imi salta masina. CE?!!! Ma imbrac furioasa si ma duc jos. Strada se "renoveaza".
Cum nu ai stiut? Trebuia sa te anunte Primaria, imi raspunde rastit un politist, nu e treaba mea ca tu nu stii, treaba mea e sa iti mut masina pe o alta strada. Ii comunic ca nu am fost informati. Imi spune ca stie da ce sa faca el acum, sa nu mai mute masini?! Ii cer sa se legitimeze. Refuza imi spune ca nu e obligat ca eu l-am chemat sa vorbesc cu el (intre timp eu am pornit camera video de la mobil, unde se aude foarte clar ce zice) apoi, observand ca am pornit camera imi arata si numar si legitimatie si isi spune si numele. Ma asigura apoi ca nu imi va muta masina fara acceptul meu si sa stau linistita. Si uite asa masina mea sta singurica, singurica in fata blocului, draguta de ea.
Intre timp vecinii mei au dat fuga de la job isi muta masinile in viteza. Tough luck! Poate ca era mai simplu sa veniti langa mine si pur sa va impotriviti. Sa va importiviti abuzului! Dar, cum sa ne punem noi de-a curmezisul in fata autoritatilor care ne abuzeaza minor dar sigur in fiecare zi? Nu?. Azi un pic, maine mai mult pana de tot.

In ultimul an am sunt la 112 sa chem politia de 3 ori. Am asistat la furt, barbati care bateau neveste in plina strada, aruncatul cu cutitul, care a si nimerit tinta adica pe noi si foc de arma in fata blocului. Asa am ajuns sa ma intalnesc cu politia de nenumarate ori. Sunt eu la locul nepotrivit mereu sau sansele de a asista la diverse forme de violenta au crescut atat de mult?

Clar ca nu ma pricep, da pricep si eu unde e reclama 'eftina si unde e CSR adevarat, folosind ceea ce generic as numi "bun-simt". Cu un profit net de aproape 50 mil euro Raiffeisen doneaza comunitatii 0.03%. Wow, si in schimb primesc reclama pe retele sociale, acolo unde e locul cel mai potrivit sa te faci "auzit" in ziua de azi, pentru care ar fi platit cel putin de 10 ori mai mult.
Sa fim seriosi, asta e program CSR, unde se doneaza pentru trei proiecte o amarata de suma (undeva la 15000 de euro). Banuiesc ca e un program serios gandit si evaluat pe baza nevoilor reale ale comunitatii si factorilor de interes pe care ii reprezinta banca cu pricina. Imi zicea un prieten CSR-ist ca totul se face cu heirupul si in ultimul moment, companiile nu vor programe CSR pe bune, ca daca ar vrea sigur nu ar fi in sectorul business. Mi se pare ca nici R. nu face diferenta.

A da, misto CSR, un CSR pentru care trebuie sa ma loghinez pe site-ul vostru ca sa vad proiectele ca apoi sa fiu terorizata cu ofertele de credit. Stiu, stiu ma voi putea dezabona, dar va bazati pe lenea generala, pe cei 80% care nu vor face asta. Si uite asa, saptamana de saptamana vor primi un e-mail cu Raifasen, pe care nu il vor deshide, doar vor vedea numele... si uite asa cand o sa aiba nevoie de o banca o sa se duca hapt acolo, ca un prieten le-a recomandat asta :)! O, va rog sa nu deschideti subiectul cu necesitatea de a te logina pentru a vota, ca se vede ca sunteti pe habarnisti. That will be just lame!

In ultimi doi ani, am trecut prin tot felul de situatii care au necesitat asistenta medicala. Cum eram responsabila nu doar pentru mine, am ales sa ma folosesc de infrastructura medicala privata. Sincer, la final am fost destul de revoltata pe un stat care primeste luna de luna bani de la mine si ma goneste in sectorul privat pentru ca nu am incredre in el.
Pai cum asa, eu platesc un serviciu in care nu am incredere... wow, cand a fost ultima oara cand te-ai dus intr-un magazin si ai cumparat un produs in care nu ai avut incredre? Vreau sa am libertatea de a da sau nu bani statului!
Dupa o indelunga cugetare, de altfel foarte scurta am luat si decizia "Daca tot sunt obligata sa platesc, atunci sa ma duc la stat sa ma tratez"! Mama si ce m-am mai tratat!
Statul la coada e deja un mod de viata, sa reformulez, e chiar viata ta. Luati-va merinde de drum cand mergeti sa va faceti analizele, ca nu stiti cat dureaza.
Ieri am fost sa imi i-a sanage si a durat doua ore pana am reusit sa primesc fisa, pe care eu trebuia prin "sniker-net" (adica pantofii proprii) sa o duc in spital sa i-au numar si sa ma intorc inapoi la cabinet! Reteaua nu s-a inventat inca in Romania. La cabinet o asistenta care _sigur_ astepta ceva imi raspunde rastit ca sa ma duc sa imi i-a sange. O intreb unde. La celalalt cabinet, imi raspunde artagoasa, nu stiu unde e!. Asa ca am bantuit prin toata policlinica sa gasesc unde e "tanti" care recolteaza sange. Oh si ce sinplu era, era la ORL :)). Logic nu?
Azi m-am dus sa imi faca ecografie abdominala. Nu am stat decat 3 ore si cand m intrat in cabinet imi spune ca nu ma poate primi decat peste 2 ore ca are pacienti de pe sectie. That was it! M-am infipt in cele doua picioare si am i-am spus ca eu nu plec din cabinet si ca nu ma mai intereseaza nimic, vreau ecografia si gata! Am primit o fata acra si o ecografie facuta in pripa.
In acelasi timp, o tanti cu plasuta de dat si-a rezolvat totul in 10 minute! Eu nu dau nimic! Noi suntem de vina pentru sistemul subfinantat, noi am dat, iar ceilalti in loc sa isi ceara drepturile au primt!
Si acum, daca va fi cum imi doresc eu, o sa fie nevoie sa imi fac analizeze astea in fiecare luna... Dragut, nu?

Ieri am adaugat adwords (reclama) pe unul din site-urile pe care le fac managementl si bineinteles ca am adaugat cuvintele cheie care se afla la tag-uri la noi pe site. Fara discriminare am facut copy & paste la cele peste 1.500 de taguri si Google mi-a refuzat cateva dintre ele printre care si "revolution".
Nu am teoria conspiratie adanc infipta in sange, doar un "pic pe fund" (ca in bancul ala cu Maria tu ai SIDA?)dar nu pot sa nu ma intreb cine decide chiar si pentru ei.
Viva la revolution!

De aprox o saptamana la mine e pe "repeat" ca sa zic asa cele 6 episoade produse de cei de la Creative Monkeyz. Nici o zi fara sa le vad de doua ori. "Baietii" dau drumul la cate un episod pe saptamana joi...
Yupee e joi, cu o mana am fost pe work si cu cealalta pe reload pe site-ul lor sa vad eu, eu, eu nou episod. Pe la 7 seara cred ca jumatate de Romanie facea asta ca nu mai puteai accesa site-ul.
Ma duc pe canal pe YouTube si acolo ce sa vezi, revolutie. Lume nervoasa ca e 9:30 si la 7:30 trebuia sa fie gata sus episodul :). O comicareala totala, la un moment dat au aparut sticle, balegar, unii se pregateau sa iasa la o bere la comun, altii asteptau de la 5, ...
Intre timp ce asteptam si eu cu gasca sa iasa episodul m-am distrat copios cu comenturile-chat de pe canalul lor si am dat si eu cu jena 1 euro donatie pentru baieti :). Dati si voi ca sunt convinsa ca spargeti 1 euro pe prostii in fiecare saptamana.

Ignoranta de prost gust a celor care nu au copii ma enerveaza la culme. Va recomand tutror sa faceti un mic experiment, oferiti-va voluntar sa faceti un cadou fooooarte frumos unor parinti de bebeu intre 6-12 luni si sa le dati o sambata libera, in care sa stati voi cu al mic si sa faceti treburile prin casa. Trust me - life changing experince!
Ei, noi am primit un astfel de cadou de la Marius care a stat cu "aia mica" intre 12 si 17 :) in timp de noi ne-am dus sa ne frezam si sa facem cumparaturile, desi intre noi fie vorba mi-as fi dorit si eu sa ies la un restaurant si un film ceva. Cand ne-am intors acasa, Marius complet terminat imi spune: Nu am reusit sa fac nimic din treburile casnice, am intins doar rufele, abia am reusit sa mananc o felie cu ceva pe fuga, nu stiu cum reusesti.... no io acuma plec ca sunt stors!"
Si cu viteza luminii a plecat :)! Si el e un om odihnit :)!
Pentru cei care nu stiu caruselul " de a nu face nimic toata ziua" incepe la 6,30 dimi si se opreste la 10 seara cand ai terminat de "strans" si pur si simplu te trantesti pe canapea, si ce misto e ca maine o iei de la capat.
Din acelasi ciclu de prost gust e si: No si ce mai e nou la voi, ce chestii misto ati mai facut?, Ce ati facut de rev?, Ai vazut stirea asta? Ai vazut noul serial de la TV? si muuulte altele. Mai cenzurati-va oameni buni...faptul ca esti ignorant nu te scuza.

Aaa, da si Janina incearca sa prinda si macar 2 ore de munca cand aia mica doarme.

M-am decis ca cel mai bine si mai bine e sa ajung si eu in secolul asta in ceea ce priveste cumpararea biletelor CFR. Zis si facut. Imi fac user, ma duc pe site selectez ruta Oradea - Craiova, apas enter si astept, si astepti....asta la un net de 48Mbps, si-am incalecat pe o sa ... o dar stai....dupa vreo 3 erori, cum ca pagina aleasa nu exista, SUCCESS - nu imi vine sa cred ochilor!!!!
Umatorul hop e sa gasesti butonul "cumpara". Imi zic ca la mine e problema si mai fac o data. La fel. Cineva imi zice in razand "always read the small prints". Cu litere de o schioapa, la finalul paginii, scrie ca numai acele bilete sunt disponibile care au butonul cumpara, iar din cele aprox. 40 de variante gasite NICIUNA, da nicuna oameni buni, nu are butonul cumpara :)).
Daca o sa va mirati de ce are CFR are departament INFOFER, care are un "gazilion" de angajati, in 8 unitati dispersate geografic o sa va spun eu de pe site-ul lor. Obiectul de activitate al S.C. Informatica Feroviara S.A. consta în productia de programe, implementarea si exploatarea de aplicatii informatice pentru transportul feroviar precum si furnizarea altor servicii informatice pentru societatile feroviare si pentru terti.
Iar ei nu sunt in stare sa aiba un site calumea, pe care sa poti sa faci ceva .....ma rog poti sa faci ceva pe el, daca intelegeti ce vreau sa zic :). Nu e un caz clasic de romanism? Noi platim, iar ei se fac ca lucreaza?

In final am aflat.... era un bug (legat de postul precedent), nu ca as fi avut dubii legate de asta. Si intre timp ce faceam up-dateul ca sa functioneze si incarcatorul meu intr-un final, ghici ce.... incarcatorul s-a oprit din incarcat. Desigur ca nu era responsabilitatea celor care mi-au vandut incarcatorul sa imi spuna ca o sa am probleme.
Si apoi cineva intreaba "What took them so long!"

Mi-a murit incarcatorul. D-zeu sa il odihneasca in cutie. Asa ca am descis sa il inlocuiesc cu unul mai nou si mai frumos.... My God! am vazut ce preturi au astia de la Apple, eh daca am vrut sa fiu si eu snoaba si mi-a trebuit laptop alb cu mar pe el :), am dat 500, da cinci sute in conditiile in care la orice alt laptop e pana in 100. Da pentru astia 5oo primiti gratis o voce plictisita la telefon de la Apple Romania la care fiecare propozitie incepe cu Mdaa... sa imi aratati voi un alt distribuitor cu astfel de "oferta".
A sosit incarcatorul mare bucurie si Mdaa :) daca fac "greseala capitala" sa las bateria sa se descarce complet atunci am la dispozitie 10 minute, gratis oferite de noul incarcator :), in care pot sa fac ce vreau eu, oriunde altundeva decat pe laptop pentru ca simplu ... noul incarcator nu incarca. Vedeti cat de inovatori sunt cei de la Apple se gandesc la sanatatea noastra....
Aaaa aporpos, stiti ca la laptopurile Apple se crapa carcasa si oriunde in lume daca te duci la Apple store il schimba pentru ca recunosc ca e din vina lor, ia ghiciti cum e in Romania... :)!

Ce ma enerveaza wordul! Nu l-as fi instalat daca nu as lucra cu autoritati publice care (grrrrr) lucreaza cu word... ca deh... de ce sa nu platim licenta din banii publici cand putem sa avem open office moka :).
Si nici asta nu ar fi o problema daca in cretinismul lor (si aici ma refer la autoritati) nu ar face tot felul de formulare care daca le deschizi in open ofiice se cam strica, capurile de tabel, coloanele se muta.... btw.... stii cum i-as tortura eu pe astia? Le-as da textul si i-as pune sa il formateze, sa vada si ei cum e sa scrii un proiect in 2 zile si sa iti mai i-a o zi formatarea.
Revenind, azi la fel doc facut in doc scris in tabel , save & close, attach la e-mail dupa care inainte sa apas send ma gandesc sa verific daca e ok, cand sa il deschid, eroare... ma trimite la open repair. Cuminte ma duc, fac pas cu pas helpul si save & close. Open again, eroare... fac schema asta de 3 ori si imi aduc aminte de o vorba pe care o zic eu destul de des "Cat de idiot poti sa fi sa repeti acelasi lucru si sa astepti rezultate diferite" asa ca open doc cu Open Office, fara eroare :), lovely save din nou si apoi open doc cu word si guess what ... a disparut eroare..
Pentru Microsoft.... numa' de bine.

Daca nu i-ati vazut pe cei de la YesMen atunci ati trait degeaba :). Iar daca nu stiti ce au mai facut va spun eu, le-au fost inchise site-urile prin care parodiau Guvernul Canadian cu privire la politica acestuia de incalzire globala. Site-urile respective anuntau ca Guvernul Canadei va reduce emisia de gaze pana in 2020 cu 40% si pana in 2050 cu 80%.

Abudenta, mediocritate si lenevie in sectorul nonprofit

Exista un lux, o abundenta de timp si resurse in sectorul non-profit.... o risipa pe care nu o inteleg cum de ne-o putem permite si care ar revolta managerii din sectorul profit.
Organizam întâlniri de 3-5 zile, din care 1-2 zile se pierd cu prezentarea, evaluarea si timpul liber, folosim aceiasi metoda "ridicate in picioare si prezintă-te" care nu funcţionează si nu are rezultate, si folosesc acest exemplu doar ca o metafora, o lene si o mediocritate generalizata a acaparat complet sectorul.
Discutam discuţii, planificam fara sa implementam nimic, discutam pe subiecte fara sa cunoastem abordarea teoretica din spatele lor, nu citim nimic, nu ne documentam, facem totul dupa ureche. An de an aceleasi proiecte, aceleaşi abordări eşuate.
Luna trecuta m-am intalnit cu un finantator din sector, nu ne-am vazut de mult si sincer nu am stiut cum sa reactionez atunci cand a spus "sunt incanta sa vad ca unii nu implementeaza aceleasi proiecte". Nu toti ar trebui sa facem la fel?!!!!!...te nasti, cresti si te dezvolti. In acest sector e mai mult o exceptie decat o banalitate sa fi documentat, lenevia si cantatul dupa ureche sunt atributele centrale....Grrr...Cea mai mare problema o am ca eu trebuie sa ma lupt cu argumente de genul "mai bine asa decat nimic", "eu asa fac si functioneaza", "eu asa simt"...wtf!
Si mai rau e ca esti tratat ca un "freak" daca mai stii ceva si chair ai pasiune pentru asta, daca te intereseaza sa imbini teoria cu practica. Totul se intampla dupa ureche, "sa nu ne pierdem timpul cu planificarea, si oricum ea doar te limiteaza". Heirupul, e principiul calauzitor ghidat de principiul de turma, toti fac la fel, eu de ce as gandi altceva. Au!

Empatie, grija si functionarul public din Romania

... lucruri pe care nu am crezut ca nu se pot intalni in functionarul public..."as vrea sa imi cer scuze, in numele ministerului....pentru ce a facut X".... sunt simple cuvinte care pentru mine au insemnat totul. Poate ca asta e normalul in alte tari, la mine in Romania, e ceva atat de surprinzator ca sincer, nu am stiut cum sa reactionez, eu am trimis o cerere care initial ar fi trebuit sa infurie, sa starneasca un val de conflict interminabil avand in vedere ca sesizam abuzurile unui functionar public local si in schimb m-am intalnit cu suport si solutii constructive.
Cred ca functionari care iti raspund astfel trebuie incurajati, eu planific sa ii scriu un e-mail personal de multumire si sa trimit o scrisoare oficiala catre minister, cu speranta ca intr-o zi lucrurile vor deveni o normalitate si nu o exceptie.

In primul rand vreau sa precizez ca toate personajele nu au nicio legatura cu realitatea, evenimentele sunt pura fictiune a mea... toti cei care ati auzit ca mie mi s-a intamplat asta vreau sa va spun ca am avut un usor moment in care am crezut ca functionarii publici sunt acolo ca sa ma ajute pe mine, din obligatie, pentru ca platesc taxe sau/si din dorinta pentru ca le place ceea ce fac si pot aduce un plus valoare noua, celor umili.
Pentru ca umil trebuie sa fi, pleaca capul, ca nu e sarcina de servici, e favoare, nu te uita in ochi ca esti "un neserios si un ambalat", sclavi nu au voie sa il priveasca in ochi pe cel care detine puterea.... Offf, si ce mai putere, un pix de DJT-ist care poate sau nu sa semneze un contract. Si ce daca mai sunt cateva zile pana la terminarea proiectului, o sa semneze contractul "cand o sa poata" ca acum e ocupata ca are 3 proiecte de "monitorizat"..."e foarte ocupata doamna" sar lingaii, dependenti de firimiturile de finantare care cad de la masa regelui. Imi e sila si imi promit ca nu imi pasa...dar imi prea pasa, imi pasa ca e convingatoare muzica, teleghidati de tot ce canta, organizatii mici, fara experinta, mari DOAR cu exprienta de uitat in jos, nu stiu sa mai asculte si "normalitatea" in care, oricine ar fi acolo, ar cultiva dorinta de colaborare, bazata pe respect constructiv si nu pe EU sunt EL CEL DE SUS, iar tu muritorule ...ieachs, ia asteapta tu la usa vreo 4 ore, ai asteptat, azi nu se poate, vino maine si mai vedem....
Si vii si maine, maine e o noua zi, o noua ocupatie, azi esti neserios ca nu executi asa cum spune dansa, sa dai afara project managerul (ca el e rau cea rait!) si sa vi tu, ca project manager, cu tu esti docil, mai ascultator. Ca eu, control freak, vreau sa executi, CE daca asta tine de management intern al organzatie, eu am drepturi omnipooootente! AMIN! Maine descoperi ca maine nu e bine, pentru ca e maine! Si maine e un alt maine si un alt maine si am incalecat pe sa si .... dar nu, ca nu e cu happy end si nici noi nu mai suntem copii.
Am crescut si am descoperit ca am drepturi si pot sa vorbesc si daca va fi ca la MTS sa nu gasesc intelegere, atunci pot sa ma adresez mai sus si mai sus si povestea merge mai departe.
Am sunat la organizatii care ofera suport legal, geamuri mari si nume si mai mari, iti raspund sec ca "proiectul s-a terminat! Luati-va un avocat!" ...ca ei nu mai pot sa ofere informatii din ceea ce stiu, ca nu ii mai plateste nimeni pentru asta...cineva imi spune ca organziatiile astea sunt ca baloanele de sapun si tind sa il cred. Luam la rand o alta organizatie, alte geamuri mari alt nume, "Stiu ca am avut un proiect pe consiliere legala a cetatenilor cand sunt abuzati de institutiile publice, dar ... faceti o conferinta de presa." (?!).
Ma rog, asta e Romania, superficialitate, mediocritate si ipocrizie... si atunci TU trebuie sa fi cel care actioneaza, citeste legislatia, documenteaza-te, bine...acum rabdare si asteptare.
Imi doresc ca povestea asta sa se termine nu la mine, ci la noi...sau si mai bine se termine o data cu EI! M-am saturat de Romania!

La fara 15 minute, apare Vadim de parada, la sediul televiziunii "la dezbatere", dupa ce s-a asigurat ca dezbaterea nu are loc si a vazut la antena 3 Dana Deac trazneste in toti...stim cu toti ca sediul PRM e la 5 minute de sediul tvr. Altul care ne ia de prosti.

M-am decis sa invat sa gatesc si sa imi fac public blogul de "invatat"....
M-am apucat de blogul asta pentru ca:
- retele din reviste sunt complicate rau de tot si nu imi ies never-ever ceea ce e foarte descurajant
- m-am saturat sa mananc mancare junk
- restaurantele sunt extrem de scumpe si sincer, eu in Oradea, nu am gasit niciunul care sa ma zvarleasca pe spate
- retetele+experinta trebuie sa le pastrez undeva
- sa vada si maica-mea si sor'mea ca incerc

Pentru cei cu experienta in ale gatitului....astept sugestii si fara glume, prea multe :)).

Am plecat, dar au ramas un litigiu, o acuzatie la adresa navei de circa 12 milioane de dolari, o cerere de daune ... A fost un litigiu, am explicat organelor de Securitate ce s-a intamplat cu noi acolo si acum pot sa o spun public, nu mai e nici un secret, am schimbat ceva in instalatie inainte sa permitem accesul autoritatilor franceze la bord, ceea ce a facut imposibila demonstratia, demonstrarea vinei noastre ... Internetul, dreptul omului in "ieuropa"... dar cu ce cost

De azi, fiecare norvegian are prin lege dreptul la internet 1 Mb/sec. In Romania ai dreptul la .....piraterie :)). Dincolo de gluma, oarecum dureroasa pentru cei ca mine, dependenti de internet, de internet de calitate...lucruri extrem de periculoase au loc zilele astea in Parlamentul European, dar suntem prea ocupati de tot felul de basescieni ca sa mai "auzim" ce ni se pregateste.
Comisia Europeana, doreste o digitalizare completa a Europei (bravo lor), in curand fiecare dintre noi va avea dreptul la televiziune digitala (desi sincer eu nu am chef sa imi cupar televizor nou doar ca sa pot beneficia din plin de serviciu), internet garantat fiecarui cetatean european (aici, nu cunosc pozitia Romaniei, stiu doar ca unele tari vor garanta 10 Mb/sec) si alte minunatii pe telefonul tau mobil. Realitatea e, off ce ma enerveaza ca intotdeauna cand primesti cu dreapta un tort, fereste-te ca din stanga vine altceva direct in moaca, revenind, realitatea e ca The trick, se ascunde in alterarea Amendmentul 138 din musai in ar fi bine sa fie, astfel, totul va putea fi controlat, ascultat si puricat de catre stat, in numele dreptatii si adevarului desigur, fara a fi nevoie de decizia unui judecator, pentru ca nu mai e necesar, e doar recomandat...
Negocierile sunt blocate de catre Franta si UK, care datorita unor initiative nationale, sunt acum incomodati de forma actuala a amendamentului.

In Romania, am invatat ca daca copiez o stire de-a lui X si o pun pe site-ul meu, atunci copyrightul imi apartine si daca cineva doreste sa o copieze mai departe atunci tb sa spuna ca e de la mine (twisted logic). Asta apare pe mult prea multe site-uri si liste de discutii, din perspectiva mea. Mergand pe aceiasi logica daca eu copiez, o carte, o melodie de undeva si o pun pe site-ul meu atunci copyrightul imi apartine? :)
In India, situatia e un pic diferita si accentul cade pe alteceva:

Am incercat sa discut cu "manageri" de portale finantate sau nu din bani publici ca asta cu copyright pe evenimentul altuia nu e OK deloc, raspunsul a fost, da, dar si eu editiez si scriu 2-3 randuri!
Nu pot sa le urez dacat succes si sa ii informez ca epoca Guttenberg s-a terminat. Intr-o zi poate o sa descoperiti si voi placerea de a da informatie libera, pentru ca asta e misiunea in care credeti.

Scriu un proiect pt DG si in aplicatie e o parte de risk analysis. All good, pana aici, nu sunt cea mai stapana pe acest subiect si nici nu am pretentii desi am scris, 1-2 planuri de risc. The event: 50 guns where stolen from a military unit, the truck, in the night, ungraded guns deposit(!), (you can hear the drums) ! Police investigation....tadada! It was the terrorists! (WTF, not again!), Press Conference, the guns are not in Romania (yeah like they know), BUT (Big one) since the law was approved 2 days before the "event", you see, know we know who did it and you are safe (What a relief!).
Ending: happy citizens, agreeing that this flagrant violation of Human Rights is the new normal.

eyeOS is a new kind of Operating System, where everything resides on a web browser. Three years ago when the new years eve was approaching I decided to do an "american custom" (in my opinion) and establish some resolution goals for the next year, to be more precise, one....

Next years I decided not to get intoxicated with such ridiculous approaches and let life take her course and not interfere by planing this. What can be more than extraordinary that doing your best everyday, not having to find excuses why I did not do that, not to worry how your time is spend, the funtastic freedom that opens your boundaries.

Guess what, "right now" it may not be the "right" thing for me, 3 years ago was the year when the things got done and I made an impact....

So in preparation for the next year I plan my new years resolutions:

- publish the god damn books that I started years ago and I did not have the courage to do them because they are not perfect
- get a 1 MONTH vacation (not in Europe)
- read 10 books
- (not sure about this) Finish my driving school that I started 2 years ago
- do one thing that is completely altruist and is not job related

Because I refuse to participate in a system that is based on nondemocratic values, where unbalanced resource distribution is taking place, where a corrupted elite is manipulating us, where the election process is the "scam" and bogus act of "manifesting citizenship".
I am going to stop supporting this system as it is today by boycotting it.

"Illusion of democracy is an insult to our intelligence." In a momentary system, all political actors are control and guided by the economic interest, with one purpose only, to growth the benefit of a few elite and to turn you into a slave.

Taking responsibility for ourselves

I always start from the premise that the capacity to grow is largely untapped in most people. Most of the time is the result of a personal choice that they do and it starts from the unwillingness, when the times gets rough, to take responsibility for themselves in a constructive way. They lack perseverance and understanding that personal and professional growth is not one time event but rather a continuous process.

Over the last five years I experienced in 99% of cases the same pattern of behaviors from our colleagues: Starting to work enthusiastically, latter discovering that they are incompetent in this field, making the choice to leave (This is not for me), modeling an aggressive and revengeful behavior in the last days and long time after that, find a different environment to channel their energy where the request are not "that demanding (as they say)".

Every time the "click" of choosing to quite is in the same moment, when you ask them to choose to grow and assume more responsibilities towards professional development.
Why when people have at hand the three choices: change it, love it, or leave it, most of them choose "leave it"?

As an employer I always was asking myself what do I do wrong? How can I change this? I start reading a lot of literature, theories and researches in this filed (McGregor, Gibb, Kepner, C.H.,Tregoe, B.B), talked about it with my peers and guess what and I discover that what I experience is not unique and tailored for me, its happening everywhere and its mainly based of personal choices that people make (the presumption is that all three choices are available in that environment be chosen).

I will not go to deep in the first two alternatives that are quite explicit in there meanings But I would rather use this opportunity to develop on the last one - leave it.Too many people make this choice instead of taking responsibility for themselves and not build up fear of one’s own potency.

This is a tricky situation, since impatience and lack of perseverance are the new virtues model in our society - I want everything and over night with no effort. And the trick comes from the fact that two factors must be embedded in it: wanting to release our potency and taking a long term commitment action to get there.

The "leave it choice" is a direct expression of fear. Too many people too often choose fear and defensiveness. (Grrrr, how much I hate this!) Why? Because most of the time growth and change are painful. (I must be a masochist since this is what generates me most of my pleasures, to learn everyday something new and to see how that is changing me into better person. )

I approached different strategies like planning, persuading, provoking.... all that latter proved to be a bad choice since it turned against me manifested in an aggressive behavior. I lower the expectation and latter _I_ turned against me: "Was this what I am standing for?".

I did not discover how to cross the crisis point, yet :)! Only a few survived! Maybe is this how we are build for...only a few will get there....

One week after the scary big event of organizing a forum of 130 persons I finally find time to write bites about it.

Today, post-it ongoing evaluation wall ... it's fun and creative and above all a lot of suggestions we have received using this method. It is easy to do and it's fun for the working team too. To be honest so far this is the most creative way/cheap and less time consuming ( max 1 hour for a panel 2.5 m X 1.5 m)

To do:
- count the post-its carefully.. do not do like us (different colors of yellow)
- make the img very small (visible pixels wanted) in corel draw (this is what I know) and apply a grid on top of the img
- print the drawing (incl grid) and take it with you to the crime scene
- for guidance I label all columns and rows
- start from top to down in order of columns (in this way you can stick together all postits - latter they will not fall down)

Not to do:
- do not use complicated pictures, you need a extra large space... we used some text and cofee cup.. latter we had to drop details from the cofee cup 'cause they did not fit in the frame

We did it wrong
- we run out of same yellow color post-it
- the cofee cup (pink) was to ambitious for our "small size mural"

The events that had been passing these last month where ones of the most amazing ones, probably from where you stand seems that this does not look good, but from where I am the destiny choose to do the final and decisive push in my life. The step that I should have done it loooong time ago - Leave definitively this filed!

What I learned:
1. Youth work (as promoted in the last years by the EC) is lower than the mediocrity it self.
2. European Voluntary Service is for confused ones and mainly for travelers. (In my life I saw 2 volunteers that where dedicated to the cause)
3. Youth workers (that I met) are all talk no walk, aggressive approach to life and unethical.
4. The projects are not design to reach an impact because no professionals are involved in (at least in) planning.
5. They constantly jump to erroneous conclusions, based on one side information, they are ready to make fun of whoever.
6. They approach things by attacking and ignoring even the basic philosophy of what educational and positive approach is.
7. They use as life and professional guiding principle the same tools that they educate against: discrimination, mocking, aggression....
8. The only thing that they trust "is their experience" and it is true "because I feel so..."

I posted this issue on various occasions in official or private discussions with governmental and nongovernmental institutions and the answer was the same..."We need to have tolerance to ambiguity since we are working in this intercultural environment!"

Do not trust my word.. go to different events, read project proposals, try to have a discussion on a topic related you will see what am I talnking about.

1.Plan your life, it will create you not only the vision but also the future that you want.
2.Promote yourself, don't be shy and modest, on long term this will not help you. If you have something to be proud of your self why not use that in your advantage.
3.God damn it learn from your own mistakes, don't be resentful if people point out negative stuff about your, analyze, learn what you want and move on.
4.Network and socialize, one day this people will help you personally and professionally.
5.Think before you act :)

CardStorming or How to create a topic/theme for an Open Space Technology event

First of all, to establish a topic of an Open Space is not easy job....but I can bet you that is a fun-challenging task.

If you have to organize a OST event and you have to estahblish the topic, here is what we have done:
Planning the meeting:
1. First we needed to do some research, we tryed to find out who else is knowledgeable outthere and can help us in writing the topic for our OST event. Our delicious is here in case you wonder what we discovered and mine too.
The planning for the brainstorming meeting is as, or even more important than the meeting it self. We took the aim of the event and we had a discussion that was structured into 4 parts: what we need to know, what we need to discuss, what we need to do and what we need to decide in order to reach the aim of the meeting.
Each of the elements resulted after this discussion where written on the flipchart and they translated into the agenda of the session as: the "need to know" become mainly frontal/handout/ppt presentation; the "need to discuss" become the focused conversation after the presentation in order to clarify and bring everybody at the same table, the 'need to do" become the result that we are looking for and keeps us focused during the meeting and it also showed us the way (method), the "need to decide" turn into how we will reach a decision method. We plan all this for a 3 hour session.
Here is how it went at the meeting:
1. Objectives and results were introduce (no rules esth this time do not know why?)
2. Project managers briefed us about what we already knew (ost event & ost method) , we thought this was a littel bit too by the book, but you can be surprised.
3. We establish the characteristics of a "good theme in OST in general and in particular for our target" as a starter.
4. Using the characteristics a triggrer words, we start the brainwring process and this is what turned out. :)
5. Using dotmocracy slightly modified to suit our needs, we selected the ideas. I am not a fan of this process, we felt that we did not took enough time to analyze all the ideas, it was hard to move one since all ideas have something to offer.
6. We cluster the ideas selected with the hope to get more clarity and with the hope that we will succeed to integrate all in one ... :)
7. Using ideas as keywords we start to build the sentences that will be the next theme for our OST event.
8. All this took more or less 4 hours.

What we discovered during the process:

that nothing better was invented since slice bread, than cardstorming, .. maybe hexagonstorming (cards in hexagonal shape :)).
that dotmocracy is not the cutest solution for decideing - latter i will write a post on this blog about it
that lateral thinking is the greates ever had-pain-generator AND, AND a fantastic way to get to the exact passionat ideas that you are looking for
